Alpine Skiing
Abundant natural snowfall. It is what every dedicated skier and snowboarder dreams about. A deep, natural snow base laid out on a spectacular terrain waiting to be carved by an adventurous spirit. This is an obsession sought by veteran skiers with the start of every ski season. Once experienced, one quickly discovers there is simply no substitute for the real thing.
Western Newfoundland nurtures the skier’s soul with 16 feet of natural snow every year. Often referred to as the ‘Best skiing east of the Rockies’, Marble Mountain measures an impressive 1700 vertical feet. Located five minutes from Humbervalley Resort, its 34 groomed trails offer a premiere alpine experience for all levels of skier and snowboarder.
An on-site full service rental shop stocks over 700 rental skis, snowboards and snow blades to choose from, with expert technicians to assist in fitting your alpine equipment needs. Groups and individual ski lessons are also available from the Marble Mountain Ski School.
Throughout the season, Marble Mountain offers night skiing on the lower slopes every Friday evening.
