Cross Country Skiing
Over 40 km of groomed cross-country trails. Whether you classic or skate ski, Blow Me Down Ski Park boasts backcountry-touring trails to FIS World Cup standard racing trails for snow lovers. This winter outing comes with an ocean vista, a view of Corner Brook and Blomidon Mountains, ‘Toutons’ (fried bread dough with moleasses) at the remote Gazebo, and the chance to see moose, snowshoe hare, grouse, fox and the pine martin.
Blow Me Down is equipped with 6 kms of photocell trail lamps, offering night skiing Monday to Friday. Skiing has never been so convenient! The ski park is situated at Lundrigan Drive in Corner Brook’s west end, a relaxing twenty minute drive from Humber Valley Resort.
There are alternative trails at Pasadena Nordic Ski Park ideal for recreational cross-country skiing. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the day lodge during your trail.
Gros Morne Park is for the experienced explorer with ski huts for overnight trips. This trail is about 1 hour from Humber Valley Resort.
