Ice-Fishing
Conveniently surrounded by accessible ponds and lakes, we’ll provide superior guides who have been fishing in the region for more than 50 years.
Caving
The Corner Brook Caves are a subterranean system that offers a break away from the snow and weather. Maps, equipment and guides are provided.
Ice Climbing
The Valleys are long and steep with long sections facing the sunless northern sky. In many cases the rock is not very good but, for this very reason, running water has been able to cut a way through. In winter these very escape routes turns into icefalls. Accessible routes are a 5-minute drive however custom tours are virtually unlimited in Gros Morne National Park and via Helicopter.
Ice Skating
Our own skating rink guru will have a top-notch facility groomed and ready for skating or pick up hockey around the clock.
Sleigh Rides
Take a horse drawn sleigh or carriage ride through the resort and surrounding trails.
Tobogganing
Race down one of Humber Valley Resort’s slopes on a sledge that is similar to what was used 50 year ago.
